Miami was also boosted by its bullpen, which surrendered zero runs in over five innings of relief. First baseman Garrett Cooper hit a double and a home run for the Marlins.

Alcántara takes the mound on Monday after a shutdown performance in his last start. The 2022 Cy Young Award winner tossed a complete game-winner, allowing zero runs on three hits and one walk with five Ks. He wasn't on his A-game in his first start against the Mets, surrendering three runs in 5.2 innings.
