The Miami Marlins and Milwaukee Brewers face off on Saturday in an MLB showdown at American Family Field. The two teams have split the first two games of this series. On Friday it was the Brewers that secured the 1-0 victory.
The Marlins come into this game with a 65-92 record overall and on Friday they wasted another good start from Sandy Alcantara. The Marlins had five hits but couldn’t score a run, and they were defeated. The Marlins offense has been a big issue all season and they are averaging only 3.59 runs per game which is 28th in the league. The Marlins have had a big season from Jesus Aguilar and he has hit 15 home runs and driven in 49 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Brewers and they sit with an 84-73 record. The Brewers have won two of the last three games and in the two wins they have given up only one run total. Overall this season the Brewers have been a bit inconsistent giving up 4.3 runs per game. Willy Adames has had a big game for the Brewers hitting 31 home runs and driving in 96 RBIs. in this game the Brewers need to get some runs early.
