The Miami Marlins go back on the road Saturday night to Los Angeles, CA for game two of three against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Miami comes into Saturday 14 games below .500 after losing three of the last five games played including a 10-3 last to the San Diego Padres in their last game. Pablo Lopez took the loss for Miami after giving up six runs on six hits across 4.2 innings of work. The Miami bullpen struggled as well allowing four more runs on five hits over the final 4.1 innings of the game.
The Miami offense struggled immensely against San Diego with only seven hits in 33 at bats including 3-10 with runners in scoring position to leave seven men on base. Jon Berti, Brian Anderson, and Jacob Stallings led the way for Miami driving in one run each.
