The offense is averaging only 4.01 runs per game which is 24th, but the pitching staff is ranked 12th in the league. Garrett Cooper is having a strong season for the Marlins hitting seven home runs and driving in 40 RBIs.
On the other side of this matchup is the Reds and they sit with a 37-59 record overall, but they wasted a good start by Hunter Greene on Tuesday. For the Reds, it’s been the pitching that has been the issue and they are giving up 5.37 runs per game which is 29th overall in the league. The top offensive player for the Reds has been Brandon Drury and he has hit 19 home runs and driven in 57 RBIs.
