The Miami Heat and their three-game win streak came to a screeching halt in a 112-104 loss on the road to the Toronto Raptors. Max Strus scored 20 points and Kyle Lowry had 19 against his former team. Gabe Vincent scored 16 points, and Caleb Martin chipped in 14. Toronto outrebounded Miami 42-23, including a 16-4 edge on the offensive glass, and outscored the Heat 26-5 in second-chance points. They looked to be the more energetic club and it showed in that category. ''That's really the game,'' Lowry said after the game. ''We played hard. We just missed some shots and offensive rebounds killed us.''

Miami committed nine turnovers in the third quarter, finishing the game with 23. Bam Adebayo sat for the first time thi s season because of a bruised left knee. Coach Erik Spoelstra said Adebayo is day-to-day. Expect him to suit up for this game against Washington. The Heat also were without guard Victor Oladipo (left knee), guard Tyler Herro (left ankle), forward Udonis Haslem (personal), and center Omer Yurtseven (left ankle). Expect Adebayo to play, but the rest are considered questionable. Miami can climb back to the .500 mark with a win here.
