Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 10-29-2022

It is a new season in the NBA but it appears to be the same old Sacramento Kings. The Kings are off to an 0-4 start and they will look to get their first win of the season Saturday night against the Miami Heat. The Heat are not off to a great start either at 2-4. These two teams split two games last season. Tip off is at 6:00 p.m. ET at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

The Miami Heat had the best record in the Eastern Conference last season and went to the Eastern Conference finals where they lost to the Celtics. But they have not yet looked like that team this season as they are 2-4 on the young season, fourth in the Southeast Division, two games behind first place Atlanta and Washington. The Heat are playing the final game of a three game west coast swing, as they beat Portland in the opener and lost to Golden State Thursday night 123-110 as a 5.5 point underdog.

The Warriors shot 50% from the floor and manhandled the Heat on the boards, out rebounding them 50 to 31. Jimmy Butler had a tremendous game with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 76 steals. Bam Adebayo added 26 points and 8 rebounds, while Kyle Lowry tossed in 12 points with 8 assists. But Tyler Herro only had 7 points and he needs to do more than that if the Heat want to get back to where they were last season. Max Strus added 14 points. Miami is 27th in points per game and 7th in points allowed per game.
