Miami Heat vs. Denver Nuggets Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 6-1-2023

The Miami Heat reportedly booked a flight before Monday's game 7 win over the Celtics and well, it all worked out for them. The Heat advanced to the finals with an easy game 7 win at Boston and now they head to Denver for game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday. Tipoff is at 8:30 p.m. EDT at Ball Arena in Denver.

The Miami Heat continued their incredible run as the first play-in team to make the NBA Finals. The Heat, if you recall, lost the first play-in game to the Hawks and had to struggle just to beat the Bulls to lock up the 8th seed. It was a gut wrenching series as the Heat jumped out to a 3-0 lead only to lose the next three games, including a heartbreaking 104-103 loss in game 6 on Saturday night after Derrick White scored on a tip-in as time expired to give Boston the win.

Boston went home tied 3-3 and everyone thought they would make history and be the first team in NBA history to come back from 3-0 down to win a series, but Miami defied the odds and destroyed the Celtics in front of their home fans 103-84 to win the title. Jimmy Butler was named the Eastern Conference NBA. And now there's no rest for the weary, as they chartered that flight out to Denver from Boston. The good news is that Herro may be back for game 3 in Miami.
