Miami will try to extend its three-game winning streak when it travels to Atlanta on Monday afternoon. The Heat picked up a pair of wins against Milwaukee over the weekend, beating the Bucks in a 111-95 final on Saturday. Atlanta is coming off back-to-back wins against Indiana and Toronto.
Miami went 12-15 through its first 27 games this season, but it has been playing much better basketball since then. The Heat have won 12 of their last 17 games, including six of their last eight contests. They are riding a three-game winning streak coming into this matchup, as they beat Oklahoma City in a thriller last Tuesday before adding a pair of wins against Milwaukee. Miami wrapped up a four-game homestand with a 111-95 win against Milwaukee on Saturday and is now getting set for a three-game road trip that concludes with games in New Orleans and Dallas later in the week.

The Heat won the first meeting between these teams in a 106-98 final on Nov. 27, putting an end to Atlanta’s 40-game streak of scoring at least 100 points. Miami has now won four of the last five meetings between these teams and is currently sitting in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. Bam Adebayo leads Miami with 21.5 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, scoring in double figures in 55 straight games dating back to last season. Jimmy Butler is adding 21.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists. Gabe Vincent came up clutch in the wins against the Bucks, scoring 28 and 27 points, respectively. Miami still comes into this game ranked dead-last in the NBA in points per game (108.8), though. It is facing an Atlanta defense that is No. 20, allowing 115.9 points per game. Veteran point guard Kyle Lowry (knee) is questionable for this game, while shooting guard Tyler Herro (Achilles) will be available. Power forward Duncan Robinson (finger) remains sidelined.
