Miami at Notre Dame – 12/30/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Miami Hurricanes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish face off on Friday in a college basketball showdown at the Joyce Center. When these two teams faced off in February it was Notre Dame that secured the 68-64 victory.

Miami comes into this game with a 12-1 record overall and they have gone 7-6 against the spread. Last Tuesday against the Virginia Cavaliers the Hurricanes were able to secure a 66-64 victory. Isaiah Wong had a big game finishing with 24 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Miami is averaging 78 points while their defense is giving up 68 points per game. The offense is ranked 75th in college basketball and they need to run up the score again in this game. Wong on the season is averaging 17.2 points while shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from behind the three point line.

On the other side of this matchup is Notre Dame who sits with an 8-5 record and they have gone 3-10 against the spread. In the last game against Jacksonville, Notre Dame scored 59 points and they secured the victory. Marcus Hammond finished with 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Notre Dame is averaging 70.5 points while their defense is giving up 67.8 points per game. This is a good free throw shooting team and they need to try and get to the line here. Nate Laszewski is averaging 14.3 points while shooting 54.4 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from behind the three point line.
