It's been a slow start to September for the slugger, but he's in perfect position for a get-right game against Francis. The Blue Jays' starter has been all over the place this season with an ugly July followed up by a strong August.
However, he came back down to earth in his last outing – giving up six hits and two homers in six innings. Alonso can take advantage of Francis, who goes to his four-seamer 51.4% his split-finger 19.2%.
