The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has reported that the Plainridge Park, MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor casinos made around $92m in gross gaming revenue (GGR) for August.
Individually, the Encore Boston Harbor reported $58m in revenue, MGM Springfield is responsible for $22m, while the Plainridge Park Casino took in $12m.
Of the $92m in total GGR, around $25m has been collected in taxes by the state.
In comparison with last year, the state saw a 0.4% drop in GGR – however, it is expected that this figure will be different in 2023, following the legalisation of sports betting.
