The MD-Eastern Shore Hawks will head up to Baltimore to meet the Morgan State Bears in MEAC play from the Morgan State leads the all-time series, 46-29, after winning three of the last four meetings. 

UMES is 12-8 after defeating Coppin State in Princess Anne. The Hawks pulled away from the Eagles with a big second half, and picked up a 19-point victory. UMES is scoring 69.1 points per game, while allowing 67.5 ppg, and shooting 43.4% from the field. 

UMES has won nine of their last ten games and they currently sit tied for first place in the MEAC. The Hawks get the majority of their production from the backcourt. Kevin Voyles returned in the middle of December, and that’s been a big part of this hot stretch of play. Voyles scored a game-high 27 points in the win over South Carolina State, and he’s leading UMES in scoring (12.4). Zion Styles has scored 15 points or more in four or the last five games, and he went for a season-high 20 points in the win over Coppin State to bring his total to 11.4 ppg. Nate Pollard Jr. paced the team with 23 points in the win over the Eagles, and he leads the Hawks in rebounding (8.2), while scoring 9.7 ppg.
