The Maryland-Eastern Shore Hawks will head to DC and face the Howard Bison in MEAC play from the Burr Gymnasium.

UMES fell to 14-9 after losing to Norfolk State at home. The Hawks trailed the Spartans at the break, and after failing to rally back they lost by three points. UMES is scoring 70.2 points per game, while allowing 66.3 ppg, and shooting 43.8% from the field. 

UMES had their seven-game win streak snapped last time out, and they’ll look to respond by taking down the conference leader. The Hawks are 6-2 in MEAC play, with a 5-8 road record. Kevin Voyles scored a game-high 27 points in the win over South Carolina State, and he’s leading UMES in scoring (12.9). Zion Styles is second on the team at 10.9 ppg after a 20-point outing versus Coppin State. Nate Pollard Jr. has double-doubled in three of the last four games, and he leads the Hawks in rebounding (8.4), while scoring 10.1 ppg.
