It’s a non-conference clash on the gridiron when a member of the Sun Belt travels to Tobacco Road to battle with a program from the ACC. The Marshall Thundering Herd are on the road as they make the trip south to face the NC State Wolfpack Saturday afternoon. Marshall comes in off a 41-35 home win over Old Dominion in their previous game last Saturday, failing to cover the line as a 14.5-point favorite. NC State ended up a 13-10 home loser to Louisville last Friday night in their previous outing, pushing the line as a three-point underdog. In the all-time series between the schools, the Wolfpack has won all five previous meetings, including a 37-20 road win in the most recent matchup on September 22, 2018.
