The Marshall Thundering Herd (6-4, 3-3 Sun Belt) travel to Statesboro, Georgia and Alan E. Paulson Stadium on Saturday for a Sun Belt Conference clash against the Georgia Southern Eagles (5-5, 2-4 Sun Belt). Marshall won its second-straight when defeating Appalachian State 28-21 last Saturday, which included a blocked punt into the end zone for a touchdown by the Thundering Herd. Georgia Southern lost its second straight when losing to Louisiana 36-17 last Saturday. Marshall will play without Rasheem Ali, while Talik Keaton is questionable. Georgia Southern will play without Latrell Bullard, Derwin Burgess Jr, Amare Jones, Sam Kenerson and Mark Langston.

The Marshall Thundering Herd are allowing an average of only 16.1 points per game which is 8th best in the nation.
