Marquette at St. John's – 1/3/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Marquette Golden Eagles and St. John’s Red Storm face off on Tuesday in a college basketball showdown at Carnesecca Arena. When these two teams faced off in March it was Marquette that secured the 85-77 victory. 

Marquette comes into this game with an 11-4 record and they have gone 9-5-1 against the spread. On Saturday against Villanova, Marquette was able to secure the 68-66 victory. On the side of this matchup is St. John’s who sits with an 11-4 record and they have gone 6-9 against the spread. After a strong start to the season, St. John’s has lost three games in a row. In the last game against Seton Hall the defense gave up 88 points and led to the 22 point defeat. Joel Soriano had a big game finishing with 23 points and 11 rebounds. St. John’s is averaging 78.6 points while their defense is giving up 70.7 points per game. Center Joel Soriano is averaging 15.8 points while shooting 59.5 percent from the field.
