The Marist Red Foxes will travel to Draddy Coliseum on Friday evening in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup to take on the Manhattan Jaspers. The Red Foxes are a brutal 9-17 (5-12) so far this season and are coming off a 61-52 home win on Sunday against the Niagara Purple Eagles. The Jaspers are a mediocre 10-15 (8-8) right now and are coming off a 73-72 road win on Sunday against the Fairfield Stags. These programs faced off back on Dec. 19 with the Jaspers taking an 80-69 to the bank. 

The Marist Red Foxes are coming off a 61-52 home win against the Niagara Purple Eagles in their most recent game. They did well in the second half as they outscored the Purple Eagles 37-26. They shot the ball at a great level from three as they were 20-of-43 (46.5 percent) overall, 7-of-15 (46.7 percent) from three, and 20 free-throw attempts. Junior guard Kam Farris led the team as in 30 minutes he finished with 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Defensively, they did an outstanding job as they allowed 28.8 percent from the floor and 25 percent from deep here. Marist did well using their size to their advantage as they finished with two steals and six blocks throughout the game after forcing just six turnovers. 

The Marist Red Foxes are having a terrible time this season offensively as they are 350th in the nation with 62.3 points per game thus far and shooting 40.4 percent from the floor and are averaging 10.3 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 66.2 points per game, which is 74th in the country. They have to improve with 3.6 blocks and 6.3 steals per game thus far.
