The Marist Red Wolves will head down to Jersey City and face the Saint Peter’s Peacocks in Metro League play from the Yanitelli Center. St. Peter’s leads the all-time series, 36-25, after winning the last three matchups.
Marist moved to 8-14 after defeating Canisius at home. The Red Wolves led at the break and held on to beat the Golden Griffins by eight points. Marist is scoring 62.5 points per game, while allowing 66.3 ppg and shooting 40.6% from the floor.
Marist was able to snap their second five-game skid of the season with the win over Canisius, and they’ll attempt to build on that here. The Red Foxes are 4-9 in Metro League play, with a 3-6 road record. Marist plays from the inside through senior big Patrick Gardner. The 6’11 center went off for a game-high 29 points in the win over Canisius, and he leads the team in scoring (18.7) and rebounding (6.2).
