I'm taking Kyle Gibson to record 6+ strikeouts at +140 odds as the best Mariners vs. Orioles bet. First of all, Gibson hasn't had trouble making good on this prop lately, finishing with at least six strikeouts in two of his last three starts.
Secondly, he has a great chance to keep that trend going against the Mariners, who average the second-most strikeouts in the Majors (9.75). Furthermore, Seattle has struck out an average of 10.5 times in their previous 13 road games.
As long as he has good contro l over his pitches earlier on, a six-strikeout performance from Gibson isn't unfathomable.
