The Manhattan Jaspers will travel to Alumni Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup against the Rider Broncs. The Jaspers are 6-11 (4-4) so far this season and are coming off an 84-76 overtime home loss ag ainst the Iona Gaels on Friday. The Broncs are 8-9 (5-3) right now and are coming off a two-game winning streak as they are coming off a 65-62 home win on Saturday against the Niagara Purple Eagles. This is the only time they will face off against one another this year.

The Manhattan Jaspers have been struggling and are coming off an 84-76 overtime home loss against the Iona Gaels. They were able to bounce back in the second half as they outscored Iona 40-29. They struggled shooting the ball as they were 26-of-69 (37.7 percent) overall, 6-of-21 (28.6 percent) from the three, and 26 free-throw attempts. Senior guard Samir Stewart led the team as in 31 minutes he finished with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and four turnovers. Defensively, they did a decent job as they allowed 40.5 percent from the floor and 28.6 percent from deep here. They did okay as they finished with seven steals and two blocks throughout the game.
