LSU Bowl Game History

LSU has frequented the college football postseason throughout its history. The Tigers have played in 53 bowls prior to facing Boilermakers.

The Tigers made their first bowl appearance in 1935 when they lost to TCU, 2-3, in the Sugar Bowl.

LSU has also won 14 different bowl games since 2000. Most recently, the Tigers lost 42-20 to Kansas State in last year's Texas Bowl.
