The Loyola Marymount Lions will travel to Provo to take on the BYU Cougars in WCC play from the Marriott Center on the CBSSN. BYU leads the all-time series, 22-5, but LMU did win the first meeting in Los Angeles last month.

Loyola Marymount improved to 16-7 after beating Pepperdine in LA. The Lions outplayed the Waves from the from the opening tip, and came away with the 14-point win. LMU is scoring 76.3 points per game, while allowing 69.9 ppg, and shooting 46.3% from the floor.

LMU followed up the historic win over Gonzaga with a pair of wins over Pacific and Pepperdine, and they look good heading into the final stretch of the season. The Lions are 6-3 in WCC play, with a 3-4 record on the road. Cam Shelton is really thriving in the lead role for LMU. The 6’2 guard has scored 26 points or more in three of the last four games, and he’s leading the team in scoring (19.3) and assists (4.6), while grabbing 5.8 rpg. Four-year starter Keli Leaupepe leads the Lions in rebounding at 6.9 rpg, while scoring 13.9 ppg.
