Loyola-Chicago continues its maiden season in the Atlantic Ten Conference in 2022-23. It has not been a great start for a Ramblers team that has been a frequent participant in the NCAA Tournament in the past several seasons. Loyola is currently just 6-7 on the season and slipped under .500 after their first game in the Atlantic Ten, a 97-87 loss to George Washington at home. Loyola had five players score in double figures on Saturday with Marquise Kennedy leading the way with 23 points and Philip Alston chipped in with 21 points. Loyola was solid in the paint, outscoring George Washington 40-26.

Loyola has lost two straight games and slipped under .500 as they head into Davidson. The Ramblers have not been the efficient team they've been in past years to start the season.
