The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers will head down to Carolina to take on the Davidson Wildcats in Atlantic 10 play from the Belk Arena on CBSS.
Loyola Chicago dropped to 6-7 after losing to George Washington. The Ramblers fell victim to a 40-point performance from GWU guard James Bishop, and loss their first game as members of the A10 conference. Loyola is scoring 69.1 points per game, while allowing 69.8 and shooting 47.9% from the floor.
Loyola’s step back as a program is noticeable, and with their first season in the Atlantic 10 looking shaky, they could be in for a long season. Philip Alston leads the team in scoring (13.9) and rebounding (5.7) after a 21-point showing versus GWU. Veteran point guard Braden Norris has scored 18 or more points in four of the last seven games.
