The No. 4 seeded Tennessee Volunteers (23-10) will host the No. 13 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns (26-7) in the first round of the East Region. Tennessee has +500 odds to come out of the East region and Louisiana is at +9,500 according to FanDuel.

The Ragin' Cajuns are rated 92nd by KenPom and has faced the 156th strongest schedule. They are 56th in adjusted offensive efficiency and 149th on the defensive end. Jordan Brown, a 6'11 junior, leads Louisiana with 19.4 ppg and 8.7 rebounds. Brown began his collegiate career with Nevada in 2018 and played with Arizona from 2020-21 before transferring to play for the Ragin' Cajuns.
