Teams with nearly identical records are crossing paths again. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (13-14, 13-11-0 ATS, 6-10 C-USA) will look to beat the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (14-13, 9-14-2 ATS, 6-10 C-USA) for the second time this season. Louisiana Tech won the first meeting in overtime, 85-74, shutting out the Hilltoppers in the extra five minutes. It was the Bulldogs' fifth straight win over Western Kentucky. Both teams will roll into Western Kentucky's E.A. Diddle Arena amid losing streaks this time around. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EST in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The school from Ruston, Louisiana has dropped four straight, and memories of their 6-2 start to the season seem distant. Ranking 150th in the nation per KenPom, the Bulldogs will look to snap out of the funk on the road now. They are 4-9 in away games this season.

A home game against the Charlotte 49ers last time out wound up being worse than their away game against them earlier in the season. Louisiana Tech never led in the game, trailing by 18 at halftime before ultimately losing 74-67. Defense must've been optional for the Bulldogs, as they let the 49ers hit 62.2% of their shots in the contest. Junior forward Isaiah Crawford had a fine afternoon, finishing with 15 points and a team-high eight assists.

Cobe Williams usually leads the scoring, with 18.8 points per game which is 46th in the nation, but he missed that game. He should be suiting up for this game though, leading an offense that puts up 73.8 points per game. They shoot 45.2% as a team and knock down 35.1% of their three-pointers.

Defensively, the Bulldogs surrender 69.6 points a night. Opposing teams shoot 44.4% against them from the floor. However, they have one of the worst three-point defenses in the nation. Their foes shoot 36.7% from downtown, 331st nationwide. No C-USA school puts opponents at the free-throw line more than the Bulldogs, who allow 19.8 free-throw attempts per contest.
