The 1-0 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will travel to the United Supermarkets Arena to take on the 2-0 and 25th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders. In their first game, the Bulldogs secured a nice 17 point victory at home against the Mississippi College Choctaws. As for the Red Raiders, they are undefeated with a +48 point differential in their first two games against Northwestern St and Texas Southern. This game is the first of two on the road trip for the Bulldogs while the Red Raiders will play their third consecutive home game. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 pm EST on ESPN+.

The Bulldogs are 4-1 in their last five games dating back to last season with a +26 point differential. LA Tech finished last season with a 24-10 (12-6) record and finished third in the C-USA West division.

LA Tech used an incredible first half in their first game to create a big 17-point lead at halftime and maintained it over the second half. Though it was against a lesser opponent, the Bulldogs have some momentum to bring into this game. They shot 46.8% as a team but were not very good from deep, 31%, and from the free throw line as they shot just 68.8%. Their defense played solid ball as they forced 22 turnovers and finished with 11 steals and kept their opponents from getting good looks as they shot just 42.6%. They did however fail to outrebound the clear inferior opponent and managed just 15 assists in their last matchup.

Junior G Keaston Willis led the team with 20 poi nts and made 44% of the team's 3-point shots. F Will Allen led the team with 6 rebounds while G Cobe Williams and G Jordan Crawford added 16 and 15 points off the bench. One of their more explosive playmakers in SO F David Green was 0-9 shooting from the floor and finished with 0 points in 24 minutes of play.
