Louisiana-Monroe at Alabama 9/17/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Louisiana Monroe Warhawks and Alabama Crimson Tide face off on Saturday in a Week 3 college football showdown at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Louisiana Monroe comes into this game with a 1-1 record overall. Louisiana-Monroe lost to Texas 52-10 in the first game, but in the last game, they looked better against Nicholls winning 35-7. Under center for Louisiana Monroe is Chandler Rogers and he had a big completing 20 hif 25 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Malik Jackson had a big game rushing 12 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Alred Luke was a difference maker catching three passes for 72 yards. The defense in the first game gave up 52 points and if they want any chance in this game they are going to need to find a way to create pressure up front.

On the other side of this matchup is the Alabama Crimson Tide who sit with a 2-0 record but they had quite the scare in their last game. After beating Utah State 55-0 in the first game, it took a kick late in the game to beat Texas 20-19. Bryce Young completed 27 of his 39 passes for 213 yards and a touchdown. Running back Jase McClellan also had a big game finishing with six carries for 97 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Jahmyr Gibbs also had a big game rushing nine times for 74 yards and a touchdown. The Crimson Tide’s defense is also elite, and if they give up more than ten points in this game that would have to be a major disappointment for them.
