Anthony Davis led Los Angeles' comeback effort, scoring 21 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter as LeBron James struggled from the floor (9-of-22). James, who missed Tuesday's game versus Toronto with a sore ankle, also missed seven of his eight three-point attempts.

Prior to their recent three-game losing streak, the Lakers were hot, having won five of their previous six. One of those victories came on the road at Milwaukee, as Davis dominated with 44 points and ten rebounds. The big man followed that up with a 55-point, 17-rebound performance against Washington but missed the following two games (illness). His recent breakthrough has fueled the Lakers' improved play, but they'll need that effort consistently throughout the rest of the 2022-23 campaign to get back into the mix in the Western Conference.
Los Angeles is scoring 114.5 points per game on 47.1 percent shooting from the floor and 31.8 percent from distance. LA is averaging the fifth-most rebounds, collecting 45.5 boards per contest. LA's offensive rating, adjusted for schedule, is ranked 25th in the NBA, and its effective shooting percentage is just 22nd, per Dunks and Threes. The Lakers' defense is allowing 116.3 points on 46. 6 percent shooting, including 33.9 percent from long range.
