Los Angeles Lakers (28-32) vs. Dallas Mavericks (32-29)
The 2022-23 NBA season continues Sunday, February 26, with the Los Angeles Lakers facing off against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference showdown at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Los Angeles and Dallas continue their four-game regular-season series, and the Mavericks look for their fifth consecutive victory over the Lakers. Dallas is a 4-point home fave, while the totals are listed at 237.5 points.
The Los Angeles Lakers (28-32; 28-30-2 ATS) have won three of their last four contests, including the previous two over the New Orleans Pelicans 120-102 and Golden State Warriors 124-111. Last Thursday, the Lakers easily outlasted the reigning NBA champions, covering a 6-point spread in front of the home fans.
Los Angeles held Golden State to 38.1% shooting from the field while making 48.8% of its field goals. The Lakers went 16-for-30 from beyond the 3-point line, handed out 30 assists, and notched 29 fast-break points. Eight players scored points in double figures, and Malik Beasley led the way with 25 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
“LeBron and AD didn't get going as much as they wanted tonight, but we’re deep, and I think that’s the stateme nt we want to make,” Beasley said. “It can be any player on any given night.”

The Lakers are still 13th in the Western Conference, a game and a half behind the No. 10 seed. They will probably miss D’Angelo Russell on Sunday, as the former second pick overall suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter of the Warriors game. If Russell hits the sidelines, Dennis Schroder will slot into the starting lineup.
