The Kings are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 4.38 goals per game with 14 goals in the last three games. Kevin Fiala, Anze Kopitar, and Adrian Kempe have scored seven goals and 20 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. Trevor Moore, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and Blake Lizotte have combined for 10 goals and seven assists while defensemen Michael Anderson and Drew Doughty have added five goals and five assists from the point to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been remarkable but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.50 goals per game with eight goals in the last two games. While Anderson and Doughty combine for 1.0 defensive point shares to lead the top two pairings, the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease. Additionally, goaltender Cam Talbot has struggled with a .905 save percentage and a 2.72 goals-against average on 168 shots.
