Quinton Byfield, Trevor Moore, and Phillip Danault have combined for 38 goals and 45 assists while defensemen Drew Doughty and Jordan Spence have added eight goals and 26 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Kings, allowing only 2.51 goals per game. Drew Doughty and Michael Anderson have combined for 5.6 defensive point shares and 148 blocked shots while Matt Roy, Vladislav Gavrikov, and Jordan Spence have combined for 6.3 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. Additionally, goaltender Cam Talbot has struggled with a .918 save percentage and a 2.34 goals-against average on 820 shots with 12.5 goals saved above average.
