Los Angeles Kings at St. Louis Blues – 10/31/22 NHL Picks and Prediction

The Los Angeles Kings and St. Louis Blues face off on Tuesday in an NHL showdown at the Enterprise Center. When these two teams faced off in November it was the Kings that were secured the 3-2 victory. 

The Blues come into this game with a 3-4-0 record overall and they are coming off another loss in the last game. The Montreal Canadiens scored seven goals against the Blues and that led to the three-goal defeat. Justin Faulk finished with two assists and three shots on goal. The Blues are averaging only 2.57 goals per game while their defense is giving up 3.57 goals per game. The offense is ranked 29th in the league, and although the defense has been bad, they need to figure out a way to fix the offense quickly. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Kings who sit with a 5-5-0 record overall and they are coming off a win in the last game over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The offense scored four goals on the way goals on the way to the victory. Kevin Fiala has had a nice start to the season and in the last game, he finished with one goal and one assist. The Kings are averaging 3.5 goals per game while their defense is giving up 4.1 goals per game. The defense leaves some to be improved, but the offense has been good. Gabriel Vilardi is having a strong season scoring seven goals and four assists.
