The Oilers evened the series with a 5-4 overtime victory Sunday in Game 4. The Kings had fired out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st period and appeared to be on their way to taking a commanding 3-1 series lead. The Oilers had other ideas in the 2nd period, however, as D Evan Bouchard struck on the power play and C Leon Draisaitl struck at even strength before adding the tying goal with the man advantage in the waning seconds of the period.

Kings D Mathieu Roy beat G Jack Campbell early in the 3rd period to give L.A. another lead. Campbell had replaced G'Stuart Skinner after the opening frame. Oilers LW Evander Kane struck late in regulation to force overtime.
