The Los Angeles Dodgers (80-33, 70-43 RL, 45-56-13 O/U) clash with the Milwaukee Brewers (61-52, 46-67 RL, 55-49-9 O/U) in the first of a three-game series on Monday night. The Dodgers will give the nod to Julio Urias in the opener. The Brewers will counter with Freddy Peralta. LA went 3-4 against Milwaukee last season and this marks the first series this year.

Julio Urias will make his 23rd start of the season. Urias was stellar in his previous start, limiting the Twins to only one run in seven innings, and collected the win to improve his record to 12-6. The veteran southpaw has been dominant recently, conceding two or fewer runs in five consecutive outings, and is sporting a minuscule 2.49 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP in 122.2 innings pitched. Urias has enjoyed pitching against the Brewers in his career, posting a 4-1 record and a solid 2.29 ERA in six meetings. 

Los Angeles continues to dominate everybody they play. They recently won 12 in a row including sweeps against the Giants and Padres in that span. The division is theirs and they will likely finish with the best record. The Dodgers have won eight out of their last ten road games.

The Dodgers have several hot playe rs at the dish including Mookie Betts. The 29-year-old star is sporting a .340 average and a 1 OPS on the month. He now has 26 big flies with 60 RBIs accompanied by an .880 OPS. Betts went 4 for 23 against the Brewers last season. 

The Dodgers lead the way with 5.45 runs per game on the season. The pitching staff continues to shine and features a 2.89 team ERA, which also leads the big leagues.
