Los Angeles Clippers (7-9) vs. Golden State Warriors (8-10)

Wednesday’s games have been excluded from this preview, and the 7-9 Los Angeles Clippers visited the Sacramento Kings as small favorites, looking to avoid their second straight loss. Last Monday, the Clippers lost 113-104 to the Denver Nuggets, who missed both Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. 

Kawhi Leonard notched 31 points and eight rebounds against the reigning NBA champions. Ivica Zubac had 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Russell Westbrook added 14 points and 11 boards off the bench, but James Harden and Paul George combined for just 17 points. George went 2-for-13 from the field. 

The Clippers are trying to figure out things with Harden in the starting lineup. They’ve won four of their previous six contests while scoring 109.3 points a night on j ust 44.5% shooting from the field and 32.1% from beyond the 3-point line. At least, the Clippers own the fifth-best defensive rating in the NBA, allowing 109.6 points per 100 possessions.
