Dallas blew out Miami 115-90 at home on Friday night, winning outright as a two-point underdog in the contest. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Mavericks own a 98-70 advantage. The teams have split two meetings this season with LA picking up a 113-101 home win in the most recent game on January 10.

LA got back in the win column after two straight losses as they took down the Spurs in a high-scoring affair Friday night. The Clippers entered Saturday night’s action 24-24 on the year and were tied for second in the Pacific Division with the Warriors, four games behind the Kings. They owned the final guaranteed playoff spot in the West but stood just one game ahead of the 11th-place Thunder to remain in the playoff picture. Against San Antonio, LA led by five after the opening quarter and trailed by seven at the half. The Clippers rallied to lead by three after three quarters and then held on down the stretch to earn the win. LA shot a blistering 63% from the field, including 15 of 28 from three-point range, and overcame San Antonio shooting 57.3% in the game. Kawhi Leonard led LA with 36 points and seven assists in the win.

This year, the Clippers are 29th in the leag ue in scoring offense with an average of 109.7 points per game. LA is 13th in rebounding with 43.8 boards a night while they stand 25th in assists by handing out 22.9 dimes per game. The Clippers are 5th in the league in scoring defense as they give up an average of 110.8 points a night. Paul George leads the team with 23.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists a night. The Clippers are 11th by knocking down 12.5 three-pointers a night while t hey are 6th in the league by drilling 37.4% of their long-range attempts.

Kennard (calf) last played on January 6 and has missed the last seven games and is day-to-day. Wall (abdominal) last played January 13 and has missed the last four games. He is expected to be out until at least late January.
