A cross-country matchup takes place on Wednesday when the Los Angeles Clippers (3-3, 3-3 ATS) head to the East Coast to take on the Brooklyn Nets (3-4, 6-0-1 ATS). Both teams are coming in on a two-game slide. The Clippers just lost their first game with James Harden, going down to the Knicks in the Garden 111-97 as 1.5-point underdogs. Brooklyn is coming off a home loss to Milwaukee, losing 129-125, and barely covered the spread as 4.5-point dogs. The Clippers are currently listed as 3.5-point favorites. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 EST from the Barclays Center.

The Los Angeles Clippers are going to be an interesting watch while they figure out how to play with their four stars. It could be argued that none of these players are still in their prime, but three of them are guaranteed Hall of Famers, and Paul George is going to have a very serious case once his career is finished. As for now, they got off to a slow start against New York; Kawhi had 18 and Westbrook and Harden each had 17 in the loss. The Clippers continue their East Coast road trip with their next stop in Brooklyn.

Paul George is playing the best basketball on the team early in the season. George is averaging 25.7 PPG to go with 5.2 RPG and 3.8 APG, he only had 10 in their last game against the Knicks, but dropped 35 on the Lakers in the game before. George is their top shooter with 3.7 made threes per game. Kawhi Leonard has played and started every game so far, he is averaging 22.2 PPG with 6.0 RPG and 4.3 APG. Westbrook has been solid with averages of 15.5 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 6.5 APG. Harden has only played one game this season, going for 17 points and six assists in the loss.

The Clippers will continue to start Ivica Zubac inside, the 7-footer patrols the paint and finishes around the rim with 11.0 PPG and 7.8 RPG. The most impactful players off the bench have been guards Normal Powell (14.0 PPG) and Bones Hyland (12.2 PPG). The Clippers have the 9th most efficient offense in the league, and 12th best defense according to dunksandthrees.com. Their tempo ranks 16th in the league based on pace of play.
