The New Orleans Saints will host the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday night in this NFC South vs AFC West preseason matchup. This will take place at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
After barely missing the playoffs in 2021, the Chargers have high expectations for this season as their core progresses. Throughout the first two preseason games, most of this team's starters have not seen the field as their real goal is to make the playoffs and beyond. Due to this they have lost their first two games of the preseason by at least a touchdown.
Justin Herbert will obviously start in the regular season. Easton Stick started against Dallas and went 11 for 20 for 134 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He was the only bright spot on offense as Stick also rushed for a team-high 24 yards on two carries in the loss.
