Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders odds, picks and predictions

The Los Angeles Chargers (5-8) and Las Vegas Raiders (5-8) meet for Thursday Night Football in Week 15 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Chargers vs. Raiders odds, and'make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Chargers are coming off a disappointing 24-7 loss at home against the Denver Broncos. That likely ended any slight playoff chances the team had, and to make matters worse, QB Justin Herbert left with a broken right index finger on his throwing hand. As such, he is out indefinitely, so QB Easton Stick will be tasked with making his 1st NFL start.

The Raiders played one of the ugliest games you’ll ever see in Week 14, falling 3-0 against the Minnesota Vikings. It was the first 3-0 game since the Steelers and Dolphins had a 3-0 game back on Nov. 26, 2007, in a driving rain, and just the 3rd time in the past 40 years a score has ended that way. And on top of losing the game, RB Josh Jacobs exited with a knee injury, and he is a question mark with the quick turnaround.

Las Vegas totaled only 202 yards of offense across 53 total plays, including just 56 yards on the ground and cobbling together just 8 1st downs in Week 14. The defense was very good, yielding just 231 total yards, and 99 passing yards, but it still ended in a loss.
