Los Angeles Angels vs Seattle Mariners Analysis
The Los Angeles Angels host the Seattle Mariners in the second of a three game series. Last night the visitors took game one 6-2, and the home tea m hopes to even things up. Robbie Ray takes the hill for the M’s and Jose Suarez gets the nod for the Halos.
The Angels bullpen imploded again last night, giving up four runs in the top of the ninth to give Seattle the win. Relief pitching, low batting average and too many strikeouts at the plate are the big reasons for their mediocre performance this year.
When the Mariners signed Robbie Ray to a $115 million contract, they expected him to pitch like one of the best hurlers in the American League.
