The Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners face off on Saturday in an MLB showdown at T-Mobile Park. In the first game of this series, it was the Angels that were able to win 4-3 in extra innings.
The Angels come into this game with a 45-61 record. The biggest issue all season for this Angels team has been the offense and they are averaging 3.90 runs per game which is in the bottom third of the league. MikeTrout is still dealing with rib injuries and it’s unclear when he’s going to be able to come back.
On the other side of this matchup is the Mariners who sit with a 57-50 record and they are right in the middle of the Wild Card race. After a slow start to the season, the Mariners have played well the last couple of months and the pitching has bene the biggest reason why. They are giving up only 3.89 runs per game.
