The Gardner Webb Bulldogs will host the Longwood Lancers in Big South play from Paul Porter Arena on ESPNU. Gardner-Webb leads the head-to-head series, 12-7, but Longwood has won the last five meetings.
Longwood improved to 19-10 after defeating in-state foe Radford in Farmville. The Lancers led the contest throughout, and downed the Highlanders by ten points, 73-63. LU is scoring 73.5 points per game, while allowing 66.1 ppg, and shooting 45.5% from the floor.
Longwood has won four of their last five games, and they’ll look to complete the season sweep of GWU here. The Lancers are 11-5 in Big South play, with a 7-8 road record. It’s been a collective effort for the Lancers this season, with solid guard play leading the way. Isaiah Wilkins has scored 15 points or more in three of the last four games, and he leads LU in scoring (12.8) and rebounding (5.8). Fourth-year starter Deshaun Wade scored 15 points in the win over Raddy, and he’s second on the team at 9.8 ppg.
