The Lipscomb Bisons will head over to Lynchburg to meet the Liberty Flames in Atlantic Sun play this Monday on ESPN+. Liberty holds the all-time series lead 7-5 after winning three meetings in a row.
Lipscomb fell to 8-6 after losing to Stetson at home last Friday. The Bisons were taken to overtime by the visiting Hatters, and dealt a six-point loss in their conference opener. Lipscomb is scoring points per game, while allowing ppg, and shooting from the field.
Lipscomb is powered by the length in their frontcourt. Sophomore forward Jacob Ognacevic has jumped out to a fast start, and after scoring 16 points or more in seven of the last ten games, he leads Lipscomb in scoring (15.9). Fifth-year senior Ahsan Asadullah brings over 134 games of experience to the lineup, and he’s leading the team in boards at 6.4 rpg, while scoring 8.1 ppg.
