The 4-1 Liberty Flames travel to western Massachusetts to take on the 1-4 UMass Minutemen on Saturday afternoon. Liberty comes into this matchup with UMass just a point away from being unbeaten this season. The Flames are 4-1 following Saturday's 38-24 win over Old Dominion on the road.  Dae Dae Hunter led the way with 15 carries for 121 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He had touchdown runs of 29 yards and 32 yards and finished the night off with a 41 yard touchdown reception when he took a short pass from Johnathan Bennett and sliced through the OD defense for touchdown run to put the game out of reach. Starting quarterback Kaidon Salter was 10-of-19 for 170 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Liberty finished with 478 yards of total offense.

Defensively, the Flames gave up 415 yards of total offense including nearly 300 through the air. They allowed 6.5 yards per play and forced two turnovers, one fumble and one interception. They had four sacks in the game and seven tackles for loss in the win. < /p>
