A four-game winless start to the season for Everton has them rooted firmly in the relegation zone to kick off Match Day 5 on Tuesday, and Frank Lampard will need a positive result sooner rather than later if Everton is to survive in the EPL for another season.
Everton did produce a solid performance from Chelsea target Anthony Gordon over the weekend, as he netted the op ening goal for the Toffees to secure a draw against Brentford. Everton was under the cosh for the majority of that game with Brentford crashing the ball against the bar on three separate occasions but failing to find the winner.
Despite losing against Brighton over the weekend, Leeds still find themselves in an impressive fifth position in the table and head coach Jesse Marsch will no doubt be pleased with how the Elland Road club has started the season so far.
