The New York Jets haven’t won a playoff game since January 2011. They defeated the New England Patriots in the divisional round, 28-21.

In the game, Mark Sanchez ended with 194 yards and three touchdowns, and Tom Brady finished with 299 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.'

Shonn Greene led all rushers with 76 yards on the ground and also scored a touchdown. Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, and LaDainian Tomlinson caught touchdowns for the Jets, while Deion Branch and Alge Crumpler each caught a touchdown for the Patriots.

Before this game, the Jets defeated the Indianapolis Colts in the wild-card round, 17-16, and later lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship, 24-19. New York has not returned to the playoffs since this run.
