Las Vegas Raiders vs. Denver Broncos Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-20-2022

Las Vegas and Denver will both be looking to turn their seasons around when they square off on Sunday afternoon. The Raiders come into this game on a three-game skid following a 25-20 loss to Indianapolis last week. Denver has lost five of its last six games, including a 17-10 setback at Tennessee its last time out.

Las Vegas is quickly seeing any chances of making the playoffs disappear, as it has now dropped three straight games. The Raiders were booed off the field following their loss to Indianapolis at home last week, as all three setbacks have come against teams with losing records. First-year coach Josh McDaniels is struggling to do much with a team that made the playoffs last season. One of his two wins this year came in a 32-23 final against Denver at the beginning of October, while the other one came against Houston four weeks ago. The Raiders have been competitive for the most part, with six of their seven losses coming by one score.

Owner Mark Davis told reporters that he is in it for the long haul with McDaniels. Veteran quarterback Derek Carr is struggling without tight end Darren Waller and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, who are both on the injured reserve. Carr unleashed an emotional response following the loss to Indianapolis, saying that not everyone on the team is as committed as him. He does still have star wide receiver Davante Adams, who is averaging 13.8 yards per catch and 87 yards per game. Adams is facing one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL in Patrick Surtain II—he has allowed just four catches over his last four games. Adams has eight touchdown receptions this season, making that one of the individual matchups to watch in this contest. Las Vegas comes into this game in the middle of the pack offensively, averaging 335.1 yards per game. The Raiders are facing a Denver defense that ranks second in the league, allowing 290.4 yards per contest.
