The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams face off on Thursday in an NFL showdown at SoFI Stadium.
The Raiders come into this game with a 5-7 record and they have gone 6-6 against the spread. In the last game against the Los Angeles Chargers it was a big third quarter that was the difference as they secured the 27-20 victory. Derek Carr completed 16 of his 30 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Josh Jacobs had a huge game finishing with 25 carries for 144 yards and a touchdown. The Raiders are averaging 24.3 points while their defense is giving up 24.6 points per game. Jacobs is dealing with a quad injury heading into this game and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to o in this game.
On the other side of this matchup is the Rams who sit with a 3-9 record and they have gone 4-7-1 against the spread. In the last game against the Seattle Seahawks the Rams were competitive but still ended up losing 27-23. John Wolford was under center and he completed 14 of his 26 passes for 178 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. The Rams did claim Baker Mayfield from the Carolina Panthers, but it’s hard to imagine he’s going to be ready to start here. The Rams are averaging 16.8 points while their defense is giving up 23.3 points per game. The offense is ranked 29th in the league, and they need to better quarterback play here. Aaron Donald is dealing with a ankle injury and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game.
