The Baltimore Ravens applied a $32.4 million non-exclusive franchise tag to quarterback Lamar Jackson on Tuesday. We dive into the odds and offer our best predictions for Lamar Jackson's next team.
All it might take for any of the other 31 NFL teams to acquire a 26-year-old, recent MVP-winning quarterback is two first-round draft picks.
With Jackson having been signed to the non-exclusive franchise tag, if he accepts another team's offer and the Ravens decline to match the deal, they'll receive a pair of first-rounders from Jackson's new team as compensation.
With that in mind, here are the odds from Betano and our best picks for Jackson's next team.

Lamar Jackson's next team
While multiple reports surfaced Tuesday afternoon refuting the widely-assumed interest from the Falcons shortly after the Ravens applied the non-exclusive franchise tag to Jackson, it just makes too much sense.
The Falcons have the second-most cap space in the NFL heading into free agency, recently released veteran journeyman Marcus Mariota, and have 2022 third-round pick Desmond Ridder topping their QB depth chart. Ridder completed 73 of 115 pass attempts for just 708 yards and two touchdowns over four games late in his rookie season.
Atlanta also has a highly-talented offensive core with which to surround Jackson. Tight end Kyle Pitts and wide receiver Drake London were each taken with top-10 picks the last two years, respectively, while running backs Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson formed one of the league's best ground duos in 2022.
While the reward for bettors isn't high with the Falcons favored to be Jackson's next team, they very well could still be worth a bet in case the refuted reports are just a smokescreen.
The Jets are strongly believed to have their sights firmly set on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Should the NFL's King of Drama ultimately decide to return to Green Bay once again – or go elsewhere – New York will surely look to pivot quickly in hopes of avoiding any combination of Zach Wilson, Mike White or Joe Flacco under center to begin the 2023 season.
New York has negative cap space (minus-$1.73 million) as of March 7, according to Over The Cap. However, we've seen teams previously (and impressively) manipulate the cap this early in the NFL offseason.
The Jets will likely be willing to part with the necessary draft capital after absolutely acing the 2022 draft with their first-round selections of wide receiver Garrett Wilson and cornerback Sauce Gardner, who won the NFL Rookie of the Year awards on the offensive and defensive sides, respectively.
Somehow, the 49ers might have the cap space to pull this off. The draft capital also shouldn't much matter to a team that has played in three of the last four NFC Championship Games.
San Francisco's window to win a Super Bowl is now, and it may be beginning to close for head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch, barring a significant-and potentially desperate-move.
Though the Niners received far better than expected play from former Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy en route to the NFC Championship in January, they haven't yet given him a vote of confidence as their 2023 starter. Trey Lance, t he team's third overall pick in 2021, has made just four starts through his first two NFL seasons due to injuries.
With their jobs potentially on the line this coming season, Lynch and Shanahan could certainly opt to cut their losses with Lance and make a more sure bet on Jackson.
